Cold Prospects
Everyone thinks prospects that never closed are done. This is such a huge mistake. No matter their reason for not doing business with you; you still want to be their "go to” person.
Maybe they did not close because they changed their mind, maybe you just did not have the right package, maybe you did not follow up well and someone swooped in, maybe someone else referred them to someone and they felt more comfortable. You never know. What you do know is that people like to be felt appreciated.
Send them a note. Thank them for their time. Let them know you have different services they may need .Tell them if they ever need someone in your industry (not a direct competitor), to let you know and you can help them find someone that will treat them well.
Setup a drip campaign so that you are “touching” them 7-8 times a year. You will either get their business or get a referral, because it is a good bet the competitor they went with, if they did at all, is not taking care of them, and when they need something, you are the one they think of.
